BEFORE & AFTER IMAGES SHOWING TYPICAL RESULTS FOR LASER VEIN TREATMENT

Laser vein treatment is suitable for both leg and facial veins. The term spider or thread vein is used interchangeably whilst varicose veins generally refer to the more serious swollen leg vein condition causing both pain and disfigurement to sufferers.

BEFORE & AFTER LASER VEIN REMOVAL TREATMENT

The technical name for laser vein removal is Photothermolysis

Photothermolysis (meaning light + heat + destruction) refers to the precise focussing of a specific wavelength of laser light on a target area with a specific colour e.g. red as in spider veins. The laser energy produces enough heat to damage the target area whilst leaving the surrounding area relatively untouched.

Laser vein treatment is suitable for both spider / varicose leg veins and facial spider / thread veins

The images below show typical results after just 3 laser leg vein treatments. Results may vary depending on the severity and extent of the area being treated. Click the before & after images to view a larger version.

As with vein removal, laser treatment can also be used to target the pigment in the brown spots, rosacea and broken capillaries, eliminating them without affecting the surrounding skin.
